San Antonio-born native Jacqueline Ortiz is News 4 San Antonio's evening weekend anchor and a reporter. Jacqueline came to News 4 San Antonio in July of 1998. She's worked all over the state of Texas, beginning her career in Waco at the ABC Affiliate. After working in Sherman, Austin and Dallas/Fort Worth she came home to stay.

Jacqueline's honors include a Gracie Allen Award and three Emmy Nominations for a news series and two feature stories. She has also been recognized for her excellence in reporting crime news by the San Antonio Crime Coalition. She was featured in the national magazine COMMUNIQUE for business Professionals of America and in 2003, received the Media Award from La Prensa.  A graduate of Southside High School in San Antonio, Jacqueline is the third oldest of eleven children. A Baylor University Graduate and a letterman of the Baylor track & field team, Jacqueline still enjoys running.

Jacqueline and her husband Ryan have two children who keep them busy.
